Cuba will present investment opportunities in the agricultural sector

The Cuban agri-food sector will present today the portfolio of opportunities for foreign investment 2023-2024 during the 24th International Agro-industrial Food Fair (Fiagrop-2023).
 
The director of International Relations of the Ministry of Agriculture, Orlando Díaz, recently reported on the incorporation of 59 foreign investment businesses destined for multiple locations.
 

Cuban president advocates for racial equality

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel today advocated that the day for the elimination of racial discrimination be celebrated every day.
 
 "According to the United Nations, today is the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. It should be every day. Too great is the world's debt to the victims of racism. Another world #BetterIsPossible," the president wrote on his Twitter account.
 

Panamanian activists call for caravan against U.S. blockade of Cuba

The Asociación Martiana de Cubanos Residentes en Panamá -Amcrp-, called for a new caravan for next Sunday, March 26th to demand the end of the blockade that the U.S. government has maintained against our country for more than six decades.
 
According to Humberto Pérez, president of Amcrp, the new action takes place two years after the beginning of this initiative in Panama in March 2021 and will repeat the tour through central arteries of the capital.

Members of the German organization Humanitarian Aid for Cuba (Humanitare-Cuba-Hilfe) are visiting Cuba.
 
As reported on Twitter, the members of the association visited the headquarters of the Cuban Parliament in the National Capitol where they held a meeting with Jesús Rafael Mora, the official of the International Relations Commission.
 

Vice-president of Cuban Institution held a dialogue with an Indian communist leader

The vice president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples Víctor Gaute held a dialogue in New Delhi, India with the secretary general of the Communist Party that country (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation, Dipankar Bhattacharya.
 
The ICAP executive highlighted the historic ties of friendship between the peoples of both countries, as well as the expressions of solidarity received during his stay in India, and urged to achieve greater cooperation in the economic and commercial areas.

State Duma Health Committee President Dimitri Kubezov met with received Cruz, who is also Head of the Health and Biotechnology Working Group in the Cuba-Russia Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Commercial and Scientific-Technical Collaboration.

Cuba's Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz, arrived today in India at the head of a delegation that includes the agriculture, renewable energy and biopharmaceutical sectors.
 
The Cuban Foreign Minister and the group accompanying him arrived at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport from Doha, Qatar, where they participated in the 5th United Nations Conference on Least Developed Countries (LDCs).
 

Cuba ratifies historic support to the Palestinian cause in Lebanon

On Tuesday, the head of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Lebanon, Jorge Leon ratified his country's historic support for the Palestinian cause.
 
At a meeting with Palestinian Ambassador Ashraf Dabour, the Cuban diplomat conveyed his condolences to his counterpart for the martyrs and denounced Israel’s practices against the people of Palestine.
 
Leon expressed gratitude for the Palestinians’ solidarity with Cuba in the fight for the end of the blockade imposed by the United States for more than six decades.
