The revolutionary faith of believing in youth

We believe in youth, we believe in youth. I repeat myself because believing in youth is an attitude, believing in youth represents a thought.
 
Believing in youth determines a conduct, and our conduct as revolutionary leaders would not be the same if we did not have faith in youth. If we did not believe in youth, our conduct, our attitude would be different, our work with youth would be different and the results, of not believing or believing, would also be very different.

Vietnam-Cuba entrepreneurial forum in Havana

Cuban and Vietnamese entrepreneurs will meet in Havana on Thursday to consider new joint business opportunities, in the context of an official visit here by the General Secretary of Vietnam's Communist Party Nguyen Phu Trong.
 
According to the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, the meeting will include the signing of several documents after a presentation by the Cuban side of the portfolio of business opportunities in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and industry.
 

Kenyan President Reaffirms Good Ties with Cuba

Uhuru Kenyatta, President of Kenya, stated today in this capital city that his Government and Cuba will continue to have a permanent relationship based on principles and solidarity, bilaterally and within the Non-Aligned Movement.
 
Kenyatta said at the Park of African Heroes, the only one of its kind in the world, that in honor of both countries' founding people, struggles against colonialism, imperialism, and in favor of the sovereignty of the peoples will be supported.
 

Nicaragua Reiterates Support to Cuba in Campaign against Blockade

The National Assembly of Nicaragua reiterated its support for Cuba in the international campaign to condemn the economic, commercial and financial blockade that the United States Government has maintained for more than half a century.
 
This pronouncement took place during a meeting between the president of the national parliament, Gusto Porras, and the Cuban ambassador here, Juan Carlos Hernández, who thanked the Central American nation for its constant support against Washington's hostile policy.
 

ALBA denounces regional intervention

On Monday March 5, member states of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) will come together to denounce attempts to intervene and interfere in the region. The Summit, being held at Miraflores Palace in Caracas, Venezuela, and presided by the country’s President Nicolás Maduro, will serve as a platform from which to demonstrate to the world, regional unity and support for Venezuela. Raúl arrives in Caracas for ALBA Summit

On the morning of March 5, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, arrived in Caracas, Venezuela, to attend the 15th Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), on the fifth anniversary of the passing of Comandante Hugo Chávez Frías.
 
The Cuban delegation also includes Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla; Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, Cuban ambassador to Venezuela; as well as other Foreign Ministry officials.

President Raúl Castro honors Revolution leaders with Work Hero title

Cuban President Raul Castro has decorated three leaders of the 1959 Revolution with the title of "Work Hero of the Republic of Cuba."  
 
The ceremony, held over the weekend in Havana's Capitol building, home of the National Assembly, commemorated the 123rd anniversary of the beginning of what National Hero José Martí called Cuba's 'Necessary War.'  
 
On February 24, 1895, Marti relaunched the country's independence struggle, which eventually freed Cuba from Spanish colonial rule.
 

Cuban Youth Claim USA Return of Occupied Territory

Cuban youths will demand today from social networks the return of the territory illegally occupied by the United States in Guantanamo province, where Washington maintains a naval base and a prison internationally denounced as a center of torture.
 
As announced, a world message action through Twitter is planned since early today in which the labels #ReturnGuantanamotoCubaNow, #USOutofGuantanamo, #EEUUFueradeGuantanamo and #DevuelvanGuantanamoaCubaYa will be used.
