The USSR Soviet Supreme awards the commemoration medal for the 30th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Motherland War, the medal is handed over by the USSR ambassador in Cuba, Nikita Pavlovich Tolubeyev during the conclusions of the main act which celebrates the 30th anniversary of the victory over Fascism in the central office of the Cuban workers. 

In gratitude for the award, he delivers a moving speech through which he expresses: “I am deeply honoured by being granted the medal .It is another token of love, friendship and solidarity of the Soviet people.”
