XXXII Havana Fair to Mark a Landmark, Vice President
The Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Ricardo Cabrisas asserted that the XXXII international Fair in Havana (Fihav) will be a milestone for being the first dedicated to promotion of foreign investment.
Cabrisas summarized lass night the award ceremony of the exhibit which finishes with a positive balance shown through a bigger technological development, a higher level of training and the quality of the exhibit.
It also has been due to the more efficient use of the most modern techniques of promotion according to international standards, he said.
According to Cabrisas, the launching of the business projects portfolio in priority sectors for the development of economic and social spheres in Cuba at mid and long-term like the renewable sources of energy, pharmaceutical industry and biotechnology, mining, manufacturing industry and that of oil and tourism, among others, give opportunities to potential investors partners.
Cabrisas noted the important interest risen in Fihav 2014 by the special development zone Mariel, which many of them have visited and received information about the incentives it offers for the participation of foreign capital.
When talking about the projects portfolio presented in the exhibition he said that it does not represent a list of interests but well-define objectives in the Social-Economic Development Program of the country which involve an important participation of foreign capital.
Fihav 2014 closes its doors this Saturday after being in session since November 2 and in which took an important role exhibitors from more than 60 nations.
