U.S. Subversion against Cuba Remains in Full Force

The hostile policy of the U.S. government against Cuba remains in force today, just a few days before the 54th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

This is confirmed by one of the most recent revelations on the subject, which shows that an experienced former CIA agent, Daniel Gabriel, trains a group of independent journalists in Cuba for encouraging subversion within the country.

The information contained in the blog Along the Malecon, by the U.S. journalist Tracey Eaton, said that Washington hired that former agent with deep ties to the Pentagon and the State Department.

The goal of this study was to create and manage a team of at least 10 journalists in Cuban territory.

Gabriel is described as a covert action former, who spent 10 years "fighting against violent extremism, conducting counterinsurgency operations."

An application of the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) proposed on September 7 that those trained by Gabriel will operate in the main cities of Cuba, including Havana and Santiago de Cuba (east).

From these places the alleged professionals would offer "local news and reports regularly."

Havana has repeatedly expressed that subversion, coupled with tightening of the economic, commercial and financial blockade, and the use of new pretexts to evade a serious, respectful and equal dialogue, do not help to solve differences.
