UN Rejects Again US Blockade Against Cuba
The UN General Assembly today adopted almost unanimously, and for twenty-third consecutive year, a resolution demanding the end to the US blockade against Cuba, unilateral measures imposed by Washington since 1962.
The plenary of the 193 UN members supported by 188 votes in favor, two against and three abstentions, the project entitled Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States to Cuba.
Since 1992, the General Assembly approves the Cuba demand to eliminate this hostile policy that has survived to 11 administrations of the White House, whose economic impact is estimated at one billion 112,534 million dollars and its human damage is incalculable.
