UN Condemns US Blockade on Cuba

The UN General Assembly reiterated on Wednesday for the 18th consecutive year its condemnation to the US blockade on Cuba, and demanded to lift it immediately.

Cuba was supported at the UN by the vote of 187 nations, while three countries voted against the resolution entitled "Necessity to Put an End to the Economic, Trade and Financial Blockade Imposed by the United States of America against Cuba."

The US government has been absolutely isolated once more in its intransigence to maintain the siege against the Caribbean island that has been in force for almost 50 years.
