UJC First Secretary Visits China

A delegation of the Cuban Young Communist League (UJC), headed by the first secretary of its National Committee, Liudmila Alamo, is visiting China in order to exchange working experiences with the host Chinese organization.

The Cuban delegation was welcomed on Monday by the First Secretary of the Young Communist League of China, Lu Hao, who emphasized the great significance they attach to the fraternal relations with the UJC.

For her part, the first secretary of the Cuban organization highlighted the strength of the current ties based on common goals regarding youth participation in the transformations that are taking place in both countries in order to preserve and strengthen socialism, sources close to the meeting told Prensa Latina.

On the first day of the program in China, the Cuban delegation also met with Liu Yunshan, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC), who described as excellent the state of relations between the two countries, which, in his opinion, are an example of reciprocal exchange among peoples.
