Solidarity Forum with Cuba in Colombia
Delegates from several solidarity organizations with Cuba in Colombia are holding on Wednesday a national forum in some municipalities of the Colombian department of Boyaca, to support the island's revolutionary process.
Activists from the country's several regions attending the 18th National Meeting of Solidarity with the Caribbean island and the Third Meeting of Young People in Solidarity with that nation are meeting in Paipa, Duitama, Tunja, Sogamoso, and Tuta (Boyaca), on October 7-11.
The forum's agenda includes conferences, panels, forums, art exhibits, cinema-forums, and screening of documentaries.
The US-imposed blockade on Cuba for five decades, the issue of the five Cuban anti-terrorist fighters unfairly imprisoned in that northern country for trying to thwart terrorist actions and actions for their release, as well as other actions of interest for the solidarity movement are also on the list.
