Raul Castro Meets Brazil Official
Cuban President Raul Castro met with Brazilian Minister of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, Miguel Jorge, Granma newspaper reported Friday.
Leading a large trade delegation, the Brazilian official carried out a program of activities with several Cuban organizations and institutions.
The aim was to foster the development of bilateral collaboration.
Also present were the island's Council of Ministers Vicepresidents Ricardo Cabrisas and Jorge Luis, Brazilian ambassador to Havana Bernardo Pericas, and Reginaldo Arcuri, president of the Agency for Industrial Development of the South American country.
