New Books on Fidel Castro and the Cuban Revolution to Be Published Soon

The Australian publishing house ‘Ocean Sur’ will soon publish new books on Fidel Castro, the Cuban Revolution and guerrilla Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara.

According to Juventud Rebelde news daily, the collections “Fidel Castro” and “50th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution”, as well as a series of unpublished texts by Ernesto Guevara, will soon be vailable to the public.

The announcement was made during the 4th International Book Fair of enezuela, which dedicated some of its moments to the life and work of Fidel Castro and Ernesto Guevara.

David Deutschmann, president of Ocean Sur and also of its sister ublishing house Ocean Press, gave details of the research, study and selection that his editorial group is carrying out to publish at least ten thematic anthologies as part of the “Fidel Castro” collection.

For his part, Javier Salado, editor of Ocean Sur and Ocean Press, eferred to the launch in the Book Fair of the volume “Venezuela and havez”, a compilation of letters, writings and speeches dedicated to he South American country and its current president since 1959 until 2006.

Ocean Sur was founded three years ago to publish books in Spanish with topics related to the new reality in Latin America and the Caribbean.

It will soon publish a collection on the 50th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution that will include texts on the cultural and foreign policies f the Revolution and US aggressions against Cuba over the past five decades.
