More Cuban Collaborators to Ecuador
Cuban Public Health Ministry Jose Ramon Balaguer bid a farewell to the second group of health workers who are part of the Manuela Espejo Solidarity Mission, aimed at studying the cases of Ecuadorians with disabilities.
The 174 experts include geneticists,psycho-pedagogues, neurophysiologists, among others, and will join the other 62 Cubans who started the project in July.
The program, the only of its kind in the world and with experience in Cuba and Venezuela, already finished in Cotopaxi and Carchi provinces, and has started in Esmeralda.
"You will make revolution. We are sure you will accomplish the mission assigned," Balaguer told them.
The Cuban collaborators are a symbol of ethics and moral, true reason against the prevailing selfishness in the world, dominated by the capitalist conception.
The work done now in Ecuador, along with medical and military staff from that country, is an example to the world, and gives hopes to the needed.
Several Cuban health workers told Prensa Latina they are proud of representing the island, and taking a message of love to Ecuador.
