Honduran Elections a Failure
Honduran social and political sectors opposed to the military coup announced they will celebrate the de facto regime's failure in the Sunday elections.
The National Front against the Coup d'Etat stated in a release that abstentionism, as of results of a monitoring nationwide, has reached at least 70 percent.
Considering this result is a great victory of the Honduran people, the front invites the whole people in resistance to celebrate the dictatorship's defeat, the document stressed.
President Manuel Zelaya, against the June 28 military coup, confirmed those data and stressed that absenteeism has reached 75 percent in the country's some regions.
