Finnish Satisfied With Exchanges With Cubans

Finnish Friends of Cuba expressed satisfaction for the development of several exchanges with people in the eastern province of Las Tunas.

Members of the Friendship Association between both nations visited, for the first time, this territory where they talked with students and teachers of the Republic of Chile School as well as with members of the Committees of Defense of the Revolution, the largest mass group in the island.

Included in their group are teachers, builders, service workers and retirees, reported the National Information Agency.

It also informed that the visitors toured the center of the Simon Bolivar Informatics Polytechnic School and participated in the ceremonies to honor the 185th and 82nd birthdays of Cuban patriot, Antonio Maceo and guerrilla Ernesto Che Guevara, respectively.

We try to do everything possible in our country to reveal the reality of Cuba to counteract the manipulation of the large international mass media, pointed out Peter Loman, member of the solidarity group.

According to their plans these friends will participate in remodeling part of the Martires de Las Tunas Pediatric Hospital until June 20 when they conclude their visit.
