Former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark said today that for his greatness, historic leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro, who died on Friday at 90 years, will be missed in the world.
 
Shortly after signing the book of condolences opened by the Permanent Mission of Cuba to the United Nations to pay homage to Fidel, lawyer and activist Clark told the Prensa Latina news agency that Fidel was one of the greatest men of the 20th century and of all times.
 
Clark highlighted the changes that took place in Cuba with the victory of the Revolution led by Fidel Castro in 1959.
 
He said that Cuba was a country of huge poverty and corruption, but incredible changes were brought in health, education and equality with his work.
 
According to Clark, from 1967 to 1969, during the presidential term of Lyndon B. Johnson, thanks to the legacy of Fidel Castro, Cuba became probably the best place in the world for children.
 
Clark praised the courage and wisdom of Fidel Castro to tackle foreign relations and defend his people, as he did in April 1961, when Cuba defeated in less than 72 hours a mercenary attack supported by the United States.
 
Clark, 90, said he had the opportunity to meet Fidel Castro and hear a lot about him despite living in different and distant countries.
 
'We're definitely going to miss him,' said Clark.
