The leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez held a fraternal meeting in this capital. 

During their conversation on Tuesday, the two leaders remembered moments of previous meetings, Cuba's nightly TV news program reported. 

Some of Chavez´ relatives also were present at the meeting. 

Cuban television is expected to report further information about the meeting on Wednesday. 

Chavez is recovering satisfactorily in Cuba from emergency surgery for a pelvic abscess.
