Ecuador''s Vice President to Explore in Agribusiness, Innovation
Ecuador''s Vice President Jorge Glas continues today his official visit to Cuba, started on Tuesday, July 8, interested in exploring exchange opportunities between both nations, above all in agribusiness and innovation.
According to the agenda, Glas will visit the Havana-based Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB), dedicated to the development, production, and marketing of new products.
The visitor will also pay tribute to National Hero Jose Marti at the Memorial dedicated to that independence leader at the Havana's Revolution Square, and hold official talks with his Cuban peer Miguel Diaz-Canel.
Subsequently, Glas will attend the signing of agreements for bilateral collaboration in education, health, and water policy.
