Cuban University Students Show Richness in Thought in Congress

Cuban First Vice President Miguel Diaz-Canel praised in this capital values and richness in thought of delegates attending the 8th Congress of the Federation of University Students.

"I feel proud that young people think and express as you," said Diaz-Canel during an meeting with the participants in the event, which ends today.

"What we have been discussing here is how to endure the work of the Revolution, which should be improved, but always by ourselves," said the Cuban leader cited by Granma newspaper.

We can achieve this "by debating, discussing, arguing, without prejudice, honestly, openly and frankly, without hipercriticismo and pride," said Diaz-Canel.

The first vice president of the Councils of State and Ministers considered the political and ideological work an important factor that will allow the Caribbean island to keep unit, a key element for victory.
