Cuba: Books, Music at Argentinian Fair
Cuba is celebrating on Friday its day at the 36th International Book Fair (FIL) in Buenos Aires, with a show that combines the magic of books with the irresistible attraction of music.
This year's celebration is a luxury, due to the presence here of National Literature prizewinner in 2003 Reynaldo Gonzalez, National Social Science prizewinner in 2006 Fernando Martinez Heredia, and poet and narrator Edel Morales.
This meeting is also an opportune moment to announce the 2011 Havana International Book Fair, the 20th edition of which will be devoted to Martinez Heredia.
Today's agenda also includes the celebration of the days of the United Nations and Japan.
The 13th International Congress on Reading and Book Promotion will be held until May 10, with participation of experts from Peru, Chile, Paraguay, Spain and Argentina.
