Cuba and Mozambique Strengthen Science, Technology Links
Representatives from Cuba and Mozambique reviewed cooperation relations between the ministries of Science and Technology of both states, agreeing to work on strengthening them even more.
During a meeting with Cuban ambassador Rafael A. Jimeno Lopez , Mozambique Minister of Science and Technology Louis Augusto Mutomene Palembre promised to visit Cuba this year to learn the accomplishments of the country in Scientific-technical matters.
According to diplomatic sources, Cuba and Mozambique signed in 2006 an agreement related to contracting advisors in the Science and Technology sector.
Hired specialists joined areas such as agriculture, information technology and biotechnology.
Cuba currently cooperates with Mozambique in sectors such as health, education, sports, culture and construction, among others.
