Celebrations have begun!
More than 130,000 members of the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC) in Artemisa are participating in activities, April 25-30, leading up to International Workers Day, stated Eduardo Antonio Chiong, secretary general of the CTC in the province.
After reading the provincial convocation, more than 3,500 trade union locals committed to participate, beginning with the decoration of workplaces and initiatives of all kinds.
“We have many reasons to feel motivated. These days prior to International Workers Day will constitute a resounding expression of support for the Revolution, a tribute to the leader of the Revolution on his 90th birthday, and an opportunity to commemorate different dates,” Chiong said, “Times of commitment and work, of support to the agreements made at the 7th Congress…”
