Brazil-Cuba Cooperation Meeting Winds up
The ninth Meeting of the Brazil-Cuba Cooperation Task Group closes two days of sessions Friday, with the signing of several bilateral collaboration agreements in different fields.
After its inauguration at the Itamaraty Palace, headquarters of the Brazilian Foreign Ministry, members of the two delegations worked in commissions to complete proposals for possible mutual cooperation projects.
The adviser of the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC), Olyntho Vieira, stated the bilateral program has allowed for two-way teamwork, through structural projects, typical example of South-South collaboration, aimed at integral development.
This ninth meeting will also enable to increase bilateral technical cooperation even more, with discussions of proposed initiatives to cope with Cuba's needs for training and development.
The diverse affairs debated, and success of projects implemented since the group was created in 1997 are indicators of the importance Cuba and Brazil grant to bilateral technical teamwork, he indicated.
Meanwhile, Cuban Deputy Minister for Foreign Trade and Investments, Ramon Ripio, affirmed Brazil is present in several of the main Cuban development fields.
