Bolivian Lawmakers: Free Cuban 5
The Plurinational Legislative Assembly of Bolivia on Friday demanded the release of five Cuban antiterrorists unjustly imprisoned in the United States since 1998.

They also demanded a review of the way the case against the Five has been handled, due to violations of international agreements.
The assembly members called upon the Bolivian people, government authorities, and social and political organizations to redouble their efforts in the Free the Five Campaign.
According to the text, they asked that no effort be spared in making known the truth about the case, while urging Washington not to ignore international calls for their release.
