Angola´s Cabinda supported by more Cuban doctors to fight Covid-19

Cabinda, in the north of Angola, was medically aided with new Cuban doctors to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
 
According to a report from ANGOP agency, Cabinda welcomed the Cuban doctors, where the Provincial Governor, Marcos Alexandre Nhunga, asked them to make use of all their knowledge for the people´s health.
 
According to the official source, the Cuban doctors will provide medical services in the municipalities of Cabinda, Cacongo, Buco-Zau and Belize, where working and accommodation conditions have been already were created.
 
The inclusion of the Cuban doctors in the healthcare network is carrying out smoothly. The differences between Portuguese and Spanish do not create language barriers. There is a good communication and there is also the fact that hundreds of young Angolans have studied medicine in Cuba.
 
By presidential decree, Angola began a fourth period of State of Emergency on Monday, by closing borders in the face of the pandemic threat, which will last until May 25, 23:59 local time, in order to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic from spreading across the country.
 
Franco Mufinda, secretary of State for Public Health, reported on Monday at a press conference that Angola has 45 positive cases, including two deaths, 13 recoveries and 30 hospitalized in Luanda.
