Angola´s Social Communication Minister Carolina Cerqueira has confirmed that her ministry will implement an Angola-Cuba memorandum of understanding for strengthening cooperation in the communication field. 

Cerqueira made those statements to a group of Cuban reporters, including the president of Prensa Latina News Agency, Luis Enrique Gonzalez, and the first vice president of the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television, Luis Acosta. 

The Cuban delegation is attending the 18th General Assembly of the Southern Africa Television and Radio Association, which is sessioning in Luanda, from Monday to Wednesday.

The Angolan minister said that the signing of an agreement with Cuba in the Social Communication sector will allow her country the technical and professional training of its top leaders and journalists, along with the exchange of delegations and educational audiovisual materials, among other benefits.
