Some names beat with the coolness of the breeze to chase away the summer heat, vibrate with the magic of songs capable of projecting us beyond time, accelerate our heartbeat like the five Olympic golds of a giant. Sometimes, small words support the biggest dreams and achievements.

When we mention or hear about Fidel, we witness the revelation of a world of struggles, love and principles. But it will never be enough to turn to the memory and open our lips: it is only worth invoking him if we risk life and death to deserve the right to pronounce those five letters, if we become accomplices of his miracle.

For nine decades he fought and triumphed thousands of times, but he still fights to conquer the most difficult fortress: the conscience and the heart of humanity, in a confrontation without weapons or trenches, only with virtues and ideas immune to bullets.

These days, reluctant to show us their meaning, seem to be always cloudy, despite the warming of the planet. Fidel is a firm guide to continue the march towards the sun of the moral world, and he walks relentlessly at the front of the column. We must put on our boots, look beyond the horizon and follow him.        

In the face of such beings, the typical funeral prayer is of little value. Let us cry out to him: "Rest in war, Commander, father, friend! Let us fertilize the seeds in his land, and the homeland will harvest its best shoots.

Many will ask: What sustains this faith to revolutionize again? But first, let us question each one of us to find the root of skepticism. He, like a magnet to summon his people, faced the greatest adversities in all fields, and turned many impossibilities into reasons for pride and admiration.     

Few people succeeded in fusing so many qualities in one body and placed them at the service of man's cause. However, he was convinced that "the enduring is the people".
