Raul Castro and Diaz-Canel attend Cuban Parliament’s sessions
The leader of Cuban Revolution, Rañul Castro Ruz, and the President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, are participating today in the last day of debates of the first ordinary session parliament.
This session of the National Assembly of People's Power (parliament), in its 10th Legislature, will focus its analysis this Saturday on the behavior of the Cuban economy in the first half of 2023.
At the Conventions Palace in the capital, the deputies will also debate on the liquidation of last year's budget.
They will also approve the agencies and provincial governments that will render accounts in the month of December before the legislature, as well as the entity that will be subject to high auditing.
In addition, the parliamentarians will ratify the agreements and decree laws approved by the Council of State.
Another important moment of the debate is the update on the country's electro-energy system and the actions taken to reduce damages in this sector, this point was left pending from the previous day.
