Cuban residents in Dom Rep remember Fidel on his birthday
The 'Maximo Gomez' Association of Cuban Residents in the Dominican Republic remembered on Thursday the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, on his 94th birthday.
Through a statement to which Prensa Latina had access, the members of the Association expressed that in these days marked by the uncertainty Covid-19 has caused globally, it is impossible to stop thinking about Fidel and his active presence in each of the battles carried out by the Cuban homeland.
The Cuban residents in Dominican Republic said to be proud of the Commander-in-Chief's teachings, 'which made of a land with few resources an unavoidable bloc of human capital and the necessary political will to help other peoples.'
Fidel Castro was born on August 13, 1926 in Biran, in the then Oriente province, at present, Cuban territory of Holguin.
