Childhood Protection Event Closes in Cuba
Experts from 20 countries will conclude here today three days of fruitful exchange of experiences in the implementation of national strategies for the care of childhood and adolescence in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The Second International Conference on Childhood Care brings together more than 100 experts, regional officials from the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF), and representatives of organizations and institutions of the area at Havana's Palco Hotel.
Guests from Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Canada, Spain and the Netherlands, along with their Latin American and Caribbean colleagues are presenting their experiences in the implementation of integrated systems for safeguarding children and adolescents.
