Applied Creativity for Childhood in Cuba
Cuban researchers, teachers, sociologists and communicators on Wednesday are discussing children's creativity in the field of research, at a forum on childhood sponsored by the Juan Marinello Cultural Research Institute.
The Applied Creativity Workshop for Children will focus on institutional policies, mainly in education and culture, as well as the role played by radio and television.
Lesbia Canova, president of the Association of Cuban Teachers, told reporters that the country will carry out a thorough study on programs to guarantee children's healthy development.
Beyond institutional policies, the workshop is an opportune moment to discuss gaps that still hinder the full development of children, the expert stated.
Participants in the forum aim to generate a creative practice of actions and influences that create in children a given system of skill, knowledge and capacity, Canova said.
