Cuban Post-literacy Campaign to Reach One Million Bolivians
Cuban post literacy campaign "Yes, I can keep on moving" will reach one million Bolivians, said today the Deputy Minister of Alternative and Special Education of the Andean country, Noel Aguirre.
"We should continue working for the post-literacy program to achieve the incorporation of about one million people", the official said, noting that almost 180,000 people currently receive it.
The campaign is in its third wave in this country, where more than eight thousand students have graduated.
By the end of this year, the goal is to incorporate 300, 000 participants more, in order to exceed 400,000 registered throughout the country.
The most important characteristic of the program is the presence of participants in classes three to four times a week in 335 municipalities of the 112 Bolivian provinces.
