Brazil Will Win World Cup, Ambassador Asserts
The Brazilian ambassador in Haiti, Igor Kipman, predicted on Tuesday that his country would win the World Cup in South Africa, set to begin in three days.
Kipman also predicted that Haiti would take part in the next FIFA World Cup.
In a statement to Prensa Latina, the Brazilian diplomat said he was confident that his countrys soccer team, trained by its former captain, Dunga, would triumph.
"Brazil will naturally win this FIFA World Cup. This one and the next one, which we will host, but for the next one, we also want Haiti to participate," Kipman commented.
Brazil collaborates with Haitian soccer in a very interesting project called Black Pearls, which Kipman fervently supports.
According to the Brazilian ambassador, a group of 80 Haitian soccer players has been chosen and the projects main goal is for Haiti's soccer team to classify for the 2014 World Cup.
