Cuba Takes Part in Paraguay's Book Fair

Cuba participates in the 7th Caaguazu Reads' International Book Fair that opened late May until June 5 in the Paraguayan Caaguazu department, said a diplomatic source on Wednesday.

The Caribbean exhibition is represented by the Cuban Embassy in this capital, and has a stand with over 50 books, apart from posters, and advertising materials on Cuban tourism.

In a statement to Prensa Latina, the source said that the books will be donated to Caaguazu library, a gesture that was thanked by the Culture authorities of the locality.

Caaguazu Reads International Book Fair is held every year and this time it includes 30 stands with the participation of the embassies of Russia, Japan, France, United States, Bolivia, Chile, Cuba, Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, among others.

According to the organizing committee, writers Miguel Angel Veron, Adolfo Chouhy, Alejandro Hernandez, Irina Rafols, Ramiro Dominguez, among others, are expected to attend the cultural event.
