Ibero-American Head Begins Cuba Agenda

Ibero-American General Secretary Enrique Iglesias is beginning on Tuesday his working agenda in Cuba, where he has planned to meet with local leaders.

Iglesias arrived in Cuba on Monday night, and will visit places of historic and scientific interest, according to Granma daily.

The Uruguayan official assumed his post as general secretary in October, 2005. Previously, he was the president of the Inter-American Development Bank for 17 years.
