The exhibition "End to Injustice", about the lives of the Cuban Five imprisoned in the United States, will be inaugurated on September 5 at the Museum of local customs in this capital, announced the Administrative Office of Cultures.
The exhibition, sponsored by that institution and the Embassy of Cuba in this capital, will coincide with the 14th anniversary of the imprisonment of Antonio Guerrero, Fernando Gonzalez, Ramon Labañino, Gerardo Hernandez and Rene Gonzalez
The Cuban Five, as they are known, were arrested in September 1998 and after biased trails, received harsh sentences, especially Gerardo, who was sentenced to two life imprisonments plus 15 years.
Rene Gonzalez has already served his sentence, but should stay in the United States under supervised release for three more years.
