Gry Larsen, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, said in this capital today that the humanitarian work of the Cuban medical brigade in Haiti is wonderful.

After the signing of a 4th tripartite agreement to finance with $800,000 dollars per year (2013-2016) the tasks of the Cuban staff in the impoverished nation, Larsen stressed the importance of maintaining the South-South cooperation.

After the earthquake in Haiti in 2010, we wondered how we could help, and 10 days later, we signed the first agreement, and today, we appreciate the work done by Cuban experts, the diplomat said.

This agreement is a good example of what cooperation should be, and as well as allowing the maintenance of our collaborators, it will strengthen the Haitian healthcare system in the country's southern area, the Cuban deputy minister stated.
