Cuba reaffirmed its willingness to continue strengthening friendly, cooperation links with the governments and peoples of the People´s Republic of China and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This week a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Secretary of the Party in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Hu Chunhua, led a delegation on a visit at the invitation of the Communist Party of Cuba.
During his meeting with First Vice President Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, they discussed the tasks and challenges faced by the two countries amid the complex international situation.
Meanwhile, Iranian Vice President Ali Saeidlo, paid an official visit to Cuba to strengthen bilateral links.
The two nations confirmed the excellent state of their relations and expressed the willingness to continue strengthening their friendly, cooperation ties.
The Iranian top official gave Machado Ventura an official invitation addressed to Cuban President Raul Castro to attend the 16th Summit of the Non Aligned Movement to be held in Tehran on August 30-31.
Saeidlo stay follows a visit paid five months ago by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who met in January with his counterpart Raul Castro as part of a Latin American tour also including Nicaragua, Venezuela and Ecuador.
