Cuba and New Zealand seek to boost bilateral ties today, with the visit to this capital of Murray McCully, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of that country from Oceania.

The New Zealander minister will hold talks in Havana with his peer Bruno Rodriguez, according to the agenda informed to the press. 

McCully will also pay tribute to Cuban national hero Jose Marti at the monument erected at the capital's Revolution Square. 

Cuba has many similaritiest with the Pacific region. This visit is an opportunity to boost bilateral an the official d trade relations with both countries, said two days ago on the occasion of the trip that also includes Jamaica.
