Cuba and Hungary pledged here today to expand trade and investment opportunities for assessing joint ventures, with the signing of the Minutes of the First Session of the Business Committee between the two countries.
The document, signed by the presidents of the Committees, Tamara Taylor and Tamás Gyenese, respectively, comprises a dozen targets, including also identify Hungarian potential partners interested in investing in Cuba.
The document also highlights the importance of continuing the exchange of information to promote business, coordinate actions in order to develop business cooperation plan.
The Committee also will support the participation of Hungary in the next edition of the Havana International Fair in November.
The business delegation is headed by Hungarian Gyorgy Mosonyi, vice president of International Relations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who was accompanied by representatives of 12 companies from that country.
These companies belong to sectors such as food, medicinel, electricityl, renewable energy, communications, transportation and machinery, which will hold meetings with their Cuban counterparts.
In statements to Prensa Latina, the head of the Hungarian delegation meant that both parties emphasize on analyzing potential for further growth of trade and cooperation between the two countries.
