Cuba's official recalls victims of US terrorism against the island

Cuba's alternate permanent representative to the UN, Ana Silvia Rodriguez, paid tribute on Friday to the victims of terrorist crimes against the island, in actions promoted and financed by the US government.

On the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, the ambassador recalled on Twitter that this scourge has cost the lives of 3,478 people on the island and caused the mutilation of 2,999.

Cuba, meanwhile, has a totally clean service record in the fight against terrorism, the diplomat noted.

On this date, she said, we demand justice for the victims of terrorist actions against Cuba.

Since the triumph of the Cuban Revolution in 1959, the country has been the target of terrorist attacks arranged from the United States, with the knowledge of law enforcement agencies operating in that country.

This is how Rodriguez denounced in the Virtual Week against Terrorism, which held a virtual session at the UN from July 6 to 10.
