Giving the speech at the massive ceremony and solemn vigil for the victims of the act of sabotage on the Cubana airline plane in Barbados, perpetrated by mercenary terrorists in the pay of the United States. During the sabotage 73 persons died, among them the Cuban fencing team who had very successfully competed for their country at a sports event in Caracas, Venezuela. Onboard there were also 11 Guyanese citizens who were travelling to Cuba to study medicine, for the noble goal of improving the quality of life of their country. There was also a group of Koreans who were travelling to Cuba to learn about the Cuban reality and to take part in it.
