Cuba ratifies historic support to the Palestinian cause in Lebanon
On Tuesday, the head of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Lebanon, Jorge Leon ratified his country's historic support for the Palestinian cause.
At a meeting with Palestinian Ambassador Ashraf Dabour, the Cuban diplomat conveyed his condolences to his counterpart for the martyrs and denounced Israel’s practices against the people of Palestine.
Leon expressed gratitude for the Palestinians’ solidarity with Cuba in the fight for the end of the blockade imposed by the United States for more than six decades.
On the occasion, Leon, who is Cuba’s charge d’affaires in Lebanon, highlighted the close relations between Palestine and Cuba.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Dabour reported on the brutal attacks committed by Israeli occupation authorities and the blood shed by Palestinians.
He rejected hostility against the cities, villages, and the Islamic and Christian holy places of the Palestinian people, especially the city of Jerusalem.
