In Serbia, the president of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba, Bojan Torbica, considered the response of the island's inhabitants to the attacks and the blockade heroic.
For his part, the president of the Community Party of Romania, Liviu Lungu, repudiated the unilateral policy of the White House and demanded its end, while from Spain former MEP Javier Couso demanded the removal of Cuba from the US list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
Also in France, associations such as Cuba Linda, in the voice of its president Didier Lalande, condemned the blockade and ratified their support for the Antillean nation.
